The reforms handled by the General Treasury of the Kingdom regarding the digitalization of public procurement were at the heart of discussions during the visit of a delegation from the Ministry of Economy, Finances, and Foresight of Burkina Faso.


The General Treasury of the Kingdom hosted a delegation from the Ministry of Economy, Finance, and Foresight of Burkina Faso at its premises from June 24 to July 1, 2024.

The members of the delegation were thus able to learn about the Moroccan experience in the field of public procurement through presentations that focused on:

  • The new public procurement reform: main contributions;
  • Public procurement management;
  • Digitalization of public procurement: the public procurement portal;
  • The integrated expenditure management information system (GID);
  • Digitalization of the financial and accounting chain: State Services Accounts Platform (CSE);
  • Security of the TGR's information systems.

During this meeting, the members of the delegation visited the GTK's data center where they were shown the equipment used for data storage and exchange, as well as the cooling system and security measures.

Upon concluding their visit, the delegation members conveyed their deep appreciation for the substantive nature of the exchanges and the depth of the discussions. In response, the TGR representatives reiterated their firm conviction regarding the critical importance of pooling best practices within the context of South-South cooperation.
