  • Control and improving collection’s reliability process;
  • Management of e- procedures related to recovery;
  • Centralization of the collections processing made by all the accountants in charge;
  • Collection of information which is useful for the recovery of public debts; and guidance of the accountant’s actions.

  • Control and execution of revenue, expenditure and treasury operations relating to regional budgets;
  • Financial assistance and advice for the authorizing departments of the State and local authorities at regional level;
  • Bookkeeping in accordance with the laws and regulations in force and developing of management situations relating to revenue, expenditure and cash operations for which they are responsible for;
  • Preservation of funds and values;
  • Steering, assistance, coordination, animation and monitoring of the activity of the regional network of the General Treasury of the Kingdom;
  • Production to the Regional Court of Accounts, of the account of the region for which the Regional Treasurer is the assigned accountant;
  • Management of human and material resources and implementation of training programs at regional level;
  • Development and implementation of inspection and audit programs for public accountants within their jurisdiction;
  • Implementation of internal control at regional level;
  • Representation of the General Treasury of the Kingdom to the local authorities and other partners.

  • Control and execution of revenue, expenditure and treasury operations of the subordinating officers attached to them;
  • Financial and accounting management of the budgets of the local authorities assigned to them;
  • Financial assistance and advice for the authorizing departments of the State and local communities at prefectural or provincial level;
  • Conservation of funds and values, for which they are responsible for;
  • Participation in the promotion and collection of savings;
  • Bookkeeping in accordance with the laws and regulations in force and development of management situations relating to the operations of the State and local communities and their groups;
  • Production of the account of the State services at the Court of Auditors for operations for which the prefectural or provincial treasurers are accounting appointees;
  • Production at the Regional Court of Accounts concerned, of the accounts of the territorial communities whose prefectural or provincial treasurers are accounting appointees;
  • Animation, assistance, coordination and control of tax collection activities to the concerned prefecture or province.

  • Taking in charge and collection of public debts either for the State or for the concerned local communities;
  • Recovery of external constraints or commissions issued by other public accountants or by accountants from foreign countries, within the framework of mutual assistance agreements as far as the collection of public debts is concerned;
  • Payment of public expenses and various annuities;
  • Control of the execution of expenditure, revenue and treasury operations of the budgets of local authorities;
  • Bookkeeping and preparation of the management situations relating to the financial operations of the State and the concerned local authorities;
  • Legal assistance and financial advice for local authorizing departments;
  • Providing the competent financial jurisdiction with the accounts of the State services and those of the local authorities for which the collectors are the assigned accountants.

  • Control and centralization of revenue and expenditure operations executed by the diplomatic and consular payers who are attached to them;
  • Transactions executed on behalf of others.
